Meehrgilde

The Meehrgilde Quilt is the sew-along of the Patchwork Guild of Germany from 2023. The idea was to create a skill builder not only for patching but also for quilting. We took our cue from the ABC and published sewing instructions every week that depict sea motifs for a letter of the alphabet, together with instructions on how to quilt the corresponding letter. Bärbl Vollertsen and Gabi Fischer wrote the instructions for  the quilted blocks, Christine Küchel and I provided the motifs
